Edible Flowers - Nasturtiums

Nasturtiums are one of the most well known edible flowers because of their gorgeous looks and savoury, peppery flavour. Due to the range of colours, sizes and the sturdiness of the flower they are incredibly versatile and can be eaten whole or separated into individual petals.

Colours: Orange, yellow, pink, peach
Flowering time: Summer and autumn

Ideas for use: Pasta, salads, oils, tempura, bread, potato salad, canapes, garnish for Bloody Marys!
