Edible Flowers - Lilac
Blink in late April to early May and you'll miss the very short flowering time of the stunning, fragrant lilac.
It's easy to see from its sheer beauty how its purple or white flowers make gorgeous cake decorations and garnishes. For the more skilled chefs lilac is best enjoyed as a floral infusion rather than eaten alone or raw.
Colours: Purple, white
