Edible Flowers - Tulips

Gorgeous tulips in various colours seem like the first really grand edible flowers of spring. So how wonderful would these look as a topper for a spring wedding cake? Pretty wonderful I reckon. You can use the flower whole (taking care to remove the stamen inside and rinsing out the pollen) or the individual petals.

Colours: Pink, purple, red, yellow, white
Flowering time: Spring

Ideas for use: Whole flowers as cake toppers or individual petals to decorate cakes and desserts or to contain little canapes. Fancy!
