Edible Flowers - Pea

The lush, sweet flavour of the pea flower is instantly recognisable and a sure sign of early summer. This red mangetout variety bears pretty pink and red flowers before producing dark purple pea pods. It is actually impossible for me to pass by the plant without picking and eating one!
