Edible Flowers - Zinnias

Zinnias are really quite bitter in flavour and so are better enjoyed as a pretty garnish rather than a tasty ingredient.

However, their claim to fame is that they have been grown (not these specific ones) on the International Space Station and that gets a big tick from me! They're also very pretty with their chunky, colourful petals.
