Growing season underway

And we're off! Lots of edible flower seedlings are well on their way and for a gardener there's no better sight than this new life.
There's no mistaking baby nasturtiums, one of the most loved edible flowers, with even their first leaves having that distinctive shape and pattern.
Can you spot what these are too?
These are sunflowers and tiny violas of various different kinds and there are lots more popping up, including borage, calendula, malope, tagetes, electric daisies, rocket and dianthus.
April is a busy time for sowing most of our seeds but this will continue for a while longer and into the autumn so that we have a steady flow of flowers available through the seasons.
