Chive flower cream cheese

I've been willing the chive flowers to open for the past couple of weeks just so I could make something deeeelicious with them and here we are, chive flower cream cheese.

Chive cream cheese and crackers is rather like a posh cheese and onion cob (that's a bread roll to anyone not from Nottinghamshire) but much more delicate in both flavour and appearance.

Chive flowers are edible as are their leaves and they taste just as good so every bit of of these canapes can be eaten, maybe even in one go.
